Qtr, 3: Week 9 - Dr. Seuss
Reading: We be working on describing what the author and illustrator are trying to tell us in the illustrations. We will also continue retelling non-fictions books and passages focusing on main idea and key details. This has been a very difficult task for some of us! Please practice this at home as well. After they read or your read library books to them, discuss the main idea and the key details that go with the main idea.
Writing: We will work on some creative story writing this week based on Dr. Seuss.
Math: We will continue to work on problem solving with addition and subtraction. We are also working on fluently adding and subtracting facts to 5. (Saying the answers QUICKLY)
Needs:
We need some new select-a-size or regular paper towels for snack time. We go through a lot each day!!

*Early Release - Friday, March 2nd 1:15pm (Lunch but no snack!)
***Saturday Make-up Days: March 24th, April 7th and April 14th (9:15-12:45 - NO LUNCH but bring a big snack***
