Qtr. 3: Week 5 - Olympics
Reading: We be working on retelling non-fictions books and passage focusing on main idea and key details. You can practice this at home as well. After they read or your read library books to them, discuss the main idea and the key details that go with the main idea.
Writing: We will finish our last "How to ..." book. Then we will begin writing our All About ... books. The children have all done research with Ms. Minton in the Media Center and have become experts on their animal. They will share what they learned in their books.
Math: We will continue to work on figuring out partners of numbers which is building up to addition and subtraction.
